Ideally one of our existing designs, exactly as laid out, will meet your needs and aspirations for your self build project. But you are unique and so is your project, so we recognise that you may want to make changes to our designs to make them even more suitable.

If you want to make any changes to our timber frame designs, then please contact us to outline the design changes you are considering. We will listen to your ideas, provide feedback and perhaps offer alternative suggestions. 

There is no fee charged for making design changes.

Bespoke Design Architect Service

In addition to altering existing designs, we also provide a bespoke design architect service incorporating the trademark SkyeHomes traditional Highland architecture.

It may be that your building plot has a particular outlook you wish to maximise; perhaps you wish to combine your home with business premises; or maybe you need additional accommodation. Provided your proposals are feasible, will embrace the signature SkyeHomes look and have the potential to add to our range, then we can offer this service for a nominal fee.

The fees charged for our bespoke design service depend on the size and complexity of the design brief.  The fee for a small 1 or 2-bedroom single storey design may be around £1,475 + VAT, while for a large two-storey design it may be £2,375 + VAT.
