| 13 March 2009 We are please to announce that some of our clients have decided to incorporate HRVC (heat recovery ventilation system) in their houses. This will not only help with the supply of fresh air to the houses, but also with the reduction of the energy comsumption and associated reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to the constant ventilation, no dampness or mould can arise within the home in addition to which, with the mechanical ventilation comes the possiility to filter the air against pollen, dust and pollution. To improve the performance of these recovery units, one of our clients has changed some of their roof lights into fixed ones. Fakro Roof Windows manufacture and supply this type of roof light and also gives the option of a Thermo window with an extremely advantageous overall heat transfer coefficient of U-pane = 0.5 Wm2K and U-window = 0.94 Wm2K. This is a triple glazed window ideal for buildings where heat loss is particularly required, e.g. passive buildings. We are aware of how sustainable design can contribute to delivering a sustainable future. For this reason and following an increase in enquiries made by our clients, we are exploring new ranges of high quality products with a low environmental impact. | |
