Ian and Marie Lewis moved to Skye last year after several years managing the beautiful Eilean Shona House, a luxury retreat on the island of Eilean Shona.  Their plan is to take the experience they gained on Eilean Shona and create their own haven on Skye in the form of luxury bed & breakfast accommodation.

Ian and Marie first contacted us back in 2003, so you can imagine the anticipation last month when we delivered their timber frame to site.  Since that first meeting in 2003, there has been a long and patient search for the right plot and location, before SkyeHomes could begin work designing the house.  It will be worth the wait though, and like Ian and Marie, everyone at SkyeHomes is looking forward to the completion of the house later this year.  And so should you.

Five-star status is the target, and we have no doubts that the combination of their experience, the beautiful location, the quality of the house design and Marie’s interior design flair, will mean they achieve this with ease.   There will be a strong emphasis on food, with evening meals not just an option but a must have!  The SkyeHomes staff will of course make themselves available as guinea pigs for Ian and Marie should they need anyone to sample their culinary delights - just part of the service!
