A recently completed SkyeHome at Kilmun, Argyll is featured in the April issue of Build It magazine which is out now.  The house was designed for Des & Lynn O'Keefe and they are absolutely delighted with the finished home. 

In a thank you email to SkyeHomes staff, this is what they said..

"At long last our epic journey on this self-build project is coming to an end.

We’ve moved into our new SkyeHome and we absolutely love it.  All the hard work, delays and bad weather seem like a distant memory and it has been worth it!  Now all that remains to be done is the landscaping.

To be able to stand and look around this lovely house is like a dream that you are afraid you’ll wake up from.

It’s everything we wanted, the traditional exterior fits in beautifully with the surrounding houses and was a big plus in receiving planning permission from the National Park Authority and we have the open plan contemporary interior we, and everyone else who sees it, love.

So a very, very big thank you to everyone at SkyeHomes – you’ve really surpassed yourselves with this one."

We can provide the design and timber frame, but its up to customers how they decorate and furnish their home, and Des & Lynn have set a very high standard.  Well done.  Enjoy your new home.
